Humberbridge Farmers Market
Mar 4 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Sorry to our customers but we are unable to attend Humberbridge Farmers Market on Sunday 1st May. See you all next month.

Established in May 2008, the monthly Humber Bridge Farmers Market is held on the first Sunday of every month (except January) at the bridge viewing area in Hessle, from 9am to 1pm.

The market is the largest event of its kind in the region, with over 5,000 visitors each month. Visitors can expect over 100 stalls selling a selection of the best seasonal, regional produce, in addition to a dedicated section for arts and crafts.

Neil Marshall, Head of Resources at the Humber Bridge, says:

Visitors love coming along to the farmers market to sample some of the fresh, local produce. And with so many stalls selling such a variety of goods, many are stocking up on the latest seasonal fruit and vegetables at the farmers market.

The market offers a huge selection of locally produced food and drink, along with stalls selling a wide variety of crafts including woollen items, handmade soaps, candles and bags.

Nether Edge Farmers Market @ Nether Edge Spring Market
Mar 18 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The Nether Edge Farmers Market takes place every quarter in the streets around the old Nether Edge Market Place. Traders and craftspeople have been successfully selling their wares at this increasingly well-renowned market.

It is much more than a market with a varied programme of live entertainment which has included traditional morris dancers and modern streetdancers, school choirs and bands, university and local drama groups, Mexican and clog dancers, skiffle bands, local singers and instrumentalists and the Salvation Army band who start the proceedings with some rousing music.

To help keep everyone entertained, various activities and workshops are usually available for young people on the Nether Edge Bowling Green. Others can sit and chat whilst enjoying this “green oasis”.

Delicious burgers – bought at Honley Show yesterday. My son asked for more after devouring his. He’s never liked burgers before and I only ever buy Aberdeen Angus ones otherwise.
I just wish they were available closer to Halifax.

Bought 4 buffalo filets from you at Emley Showvtoday and cooked them on the barbecue when we got home. Had them pretty rare and we were amazed at the flavour, absolutely delicious. We’ll be back for more very soon!

Bought 2 buffalo burgers this morning at Wentworth farmers’ market. Couldn’t be bothered cooking Sunday lunch so we had the burgers with chips & salad. Absolutely delicious – they didn’t shrink, hardly any fat came out of them – they stayed really moist and what a wonderful taste, will definitely be buying more soon.

I braised some of your wonderful buffalo braising steak for four hours with cyprus potatoes and was blown away at how tender and succulent the meat was surpassing even the best beef. Wonderful, wonderful meat that I will cook with again and again. Thank you!
